Strong winds from the spanish badlands!mono field recording with an akg c91 cardio in a windjammer, into a aeta mixy onto an maudio microtrack via spdif, sometime around spring 2011. Recorded in the bardenas reales desert in spain. Http://upload. Wikimedia. Org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/04/lapisquerra. Jpg/1024px-lapisquerra. Jpgthis particular recording was done a day of high winds on the hills overlooking the bardena, close to a mass of shrubbery with birds nesting in it!it's pretty dense, the infra gusts have been somewhat tamed but are still quite present!.

This sound is recorded directly from one of my original 1938 98cc light motorbikes. This time is a express (manufaturer) sl 102 (type). The noise you hear is all specific. It is the fuel cock on selection, the flooding of the carburettor, suction of the engine, two tries to bring the engine to live with clutch action inbetween. Running on idle and two short openings of the throttle. Engine is shut off by using the decompression lever which is typical for this period of time and two stroke engines. .

I recorded this in my living room with mics in an x-pattern on the couch very close together, using a tascam dr-70d and behringer dyynamic microphones with patch cables for optimal volume. I recorded this at maximum gain on the tascam as two stereo files, then conjoined them to a 6-channel audio file properly and mixed the front two channels to a monaural center channel for added effect. The final result is what can be downloaded here. Tghe music in the background is part of the star trek: generations expanded complete score, and is coming from my computer to the rear of the recording, which lasts just over a minute in length, and the music was just background noise for testing purposes only. No copyright infringement was intended. Credit for the music goes to the now late jerry goldsmith and also dennis mccarthy, who is still alive. I hope you like this audio demonstration, and find it useful when considering rigs like the holophone, or comparible 5. 1 surround sound microphones / rigs. I take no credit for this recording, as it was done for demonstration purposes only. Have fun!.

About the possibilities of what can be done with the human voice in a recording studio. What you hear in these remixes is twice treated: first, by matt stevenson at the eris temple in philly in '06; secondly, by zenboy1955 from the cc mixter crew in cali in 2021. The range of sounds and effects achieved is, i feel, incredible, esp. In the second, vocal montage remix. Enjoy.

This is a story based on the 'jungian' idea in depth psychology of the shadow. There is subtle references to don quixote and the coyote trickster archetype. I would love to hear a beat accompany this track.

I've recorded the first chapter of a story created in a manner called one-word-at-a-time in freesound forums. Read the original here:http://www. Freesound. Org/forum/off-topic/34658/. Captured using a zoom h2, edited with audacity. Compressed with sc4 and eqd with audacity's built in rich eq. The compiled text without commentary:. 1 - once. . . 2 - upon3 - a time4 - in a small town called pandora5 - there was a database. 6 - containing vital information7 - collected and controlled by the government. 8 - nobody knew what the database, called pandorabox, contained, yet the popularfolklore went thus:9 - that every word, written, spoken or thought was in the database. 10 - though the question still remains,. . . 11 - how does one12 - hack the database? more importantly, why does one, or who intends to, hackthe database?13 - the question puzzled many but one young outcast searched for the answer forhis special organization called the. . . . . 14 - chaos code. 15 - within this organisation one thing was certain. . . 16 - , they were all looking for the same thing. For all they knew pandoraboxcould hold vital information for there cause that they could use against thecapital or it could hold deep dark secrets about them and the capital that wouldneed to be destroyed and taken advantaged. 17 - but,18 - nothing is ever easy19 - for20 - the chaos code. 21 - now time is running short as few are left to face the enemy22 - , although without even knowing who the enemy really was, the "crusaders" -the hackers - knew they were against something big. . . And that something wasagainst them as well. The first step, then, was to know whom or what they wereup against. 23 - they set to prepare some reconnaissance - to better equip their knowledge. 24 - when they got there they secretly spied the territory and discovered thatit was worse then they predicted and it would be hard getting in and out withoutbeing noticed, they will probably have to fight there way in and out or sneak inand then fight there way out. 25 - since they knew that either outcome meant the destruction of their plansbefore even starting, they decided they'd have to retreat and find an insiderfirst.

Before corsica_s's girlfriend started taking so many requests, she never cursed. And i wanted to take the samples of her moaning and breathing heavy and combine it with some dirty-sounding stuff. But it ended up way too dirty a concept and i got uncomfortable and never used it. Anyway to create this i took the following files:. 72251__corsica_s__fight77238__corsica_s__bring_me_luck80306__corsica_s__oclock. And edited them together in audacity to manually create her saying "fuck". Then they recorded her saying "sexy motherfucker" and other shit and i realized i have way too much free-time.

In the "word association game" (on this forum) i wrote mangle, as word no 2795. I zoomed in to my post. Made a screen dump. Cropped out “2795 – mangle”. Saved as a monochrome bitmap. Opened in audacity as raw data. Applied paulstretch. Got this swoosh-sound. Let me know if you use it :-).

Video:https://vimeo. Com/187460953https://youtu. Better set on monoaural on your daw if possible due to the off-center recording. Having been a bit ill on some rich iron content food i couldn't stomach (offal it was, it was the sheep fried liver who was the culprit - the very rich iron content upset my stomach pretty bad - was looking for something "new". ). Keep in mind that i am unable to do this as a request for obvious reasons including health, livelihood and risk of damage to equipment. I tried very hard to avoid shaking the zoom as not to make the wobbling sounds. If i am ill again, i'll use my ma-2 (microphone stick) and gravity microphone stand and get a real good recording of real vomiting but keep in mind this was recorded in my showerroom so some er may occur.
